Offline Lab Software in Pakistan with Cloud Sync
A lab cannot close because the internet went down. PathCare runs completely offline — patient registration, receipts, results, reports and stock — and then synchronises everything to the cloud automatically when the connection comes back.
- Register patients with no internet
- Enter results and print reports offline
- Billing, receipts and stock offline too
- Automatic cloud sync on reconnect
- Offline sample collection with bulk upload
- Backup and restore built in
Why offline capability is not optional in Pakistan
Load shedding, cable cuts and congested connections are still part of running a laboratory in many parts of Pakistan. When internet-only software fails, the lab stops: no registrations, no receipts, no results. Staff fall back to paper, and then spend days re-entering data — if they can read their own handwriting.
Offline capability is not a feature you use only during an outage. It is what lets you commit to software without gambling your lab's operations on a stable connection. It also matters commercially: a lab that keeps working during an outage keeps its patients.
What PathCare does offline
- Patient registration and billing. New patients, new invoices, discounts, dues and payments — all captured locally.
- Receipts and lab slips. Print receipts and barcoded lab slips exactly as you would when online.
- Result entry. Technicians enter results into the local copy, with normal ranges and previous results available.
- Report printing. Reports are generated and printed with your branding during the outage.
- Inventory and expenses. Stock additions, consumption, expenses and cash entries continue locally.
- Another branch online makes no difference. If only one collection centre is offline, the rest of the network keeps working normally.
How the sync works
PathCare keeps a local database on your lab's computer and a cloud copy online. While you work offline, records are written locally. When connectivity returns, the software synchronises automatically — new patients, results, invoices and stock movements appear in the online system with their original timestamps, so reports read exactly as they should rather than being stamped with the reconnection time.
For collection points specifically: PathCare can capture samples at a collection point with no internet at all and upload them later, including bulk upload from an Excel file that creates the patient records automatically. That is how remote collection centres stay profitable without connectivity.
Offline plus cloud, not offline or cloud
What you give up with the alternatives
Cloud-only software
When the internet fails, the lab stops working. Staff revert to paper registers and re-enter data later, which is exactly when transcription errors happen.
Offline-only software
Works during outages, but head office cannot see a branch's activity, and you must manage backups, hardware failures and upgrades yourself.
PathCare: offline + cloud
Continue working when the connection drops, then sync automatically. You get continuity during outages and visibility across branches the rest of the time.
Backup that actually runs
Cloud synchronisation is a continuous backup. PathCare also includes a full backup and restore facility for the local database.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use lab software without internet in Pakistan?
Yes. PathCare runs fully offline — registration, receipts, results, reports and stock all work with no connection, and data syncs to the cloud when the connection returns.
What happens to data collected offline?
Everything entered offline is stored locally and then synchronised. Reports, invoices and stock movements created during the outage appear online with their original timestamps.
Can I collect samples offline and upload them later?
Yes. PathCare supports offline sample collection, with optional bulk upload from an Excel file that creates patient records automatically.
Is offline data safe if the computer fails?
PathCare includes a complete backup and restore facility so local data can be recovered. After a successful sync, the cloud copy is the authoritative record.
Do multi-branch labs need offline mode?
Especially. If a collection centre loses connectivity, that centre keeps working and syncs later without duplicating the main lab's data.
Test the offline mode yourself
We will disconnect the internet in the middle of a demo and let you keep working. That is the honest way to evaluate this feature.
